2012 Annual General Meeting

The Director’s of the Wild Rose Draft Horse Association are pleased to announce the Annual General Meeting for 2012. It will be held at the Westerner Exposition in Red Deer on February 4th.
Registration will begin at 8:30 am with coffee and donuts available. Members and guests are encouraged to send in the membership and meal ticket requests early. Upon arrival your membership card, voting ballots, and meal tickets will be ready for pickup. In order to accommodate the caterer, meal tickets have to be pre-purchased by January 27th,2012.
The Annual Youth Scholarship Essay Program will begin at 9:30 am. The Theme will be ‘How Can We Attract More Youth to Participate in the Draft Horse Industry. The public is invited to listen to these speeches. The top three essays selected will give a 5 minute speech at the AGM.
The AGM will start at 10:00 am. Some of the topics up for discussion will be 2011/2012 Mane Event; 2011/2012 Horse Sale; 2011/2012 Futurity Program; plus more. If anyone has a topic they would like to discuss please contact Bob Lewis to be put on the agenda.
Lunch will be served at 12:30 pm. If anyone could donate a door prize, it makes for a fun lunch hour. The individual breed meetings will start at 1:30. The Belgians and Clyde/Shire group will be in the divided Lookout Room, and the Percherons will be in the Frontier Room. At 4:00 pm there will be a Hospitality Event in the Frontier Room with snacks and beverages. Hoping to see everyone come out.
